I build web apps, Windows tools, and games.
IT student and developer working toward joining a professional game development team.

Based in Cabanatuan City. Studying IT. Building across platforms.

John Hendrix Dela Cruz
I work from the interface down into the systems that make it useful. Recent projects include a Windows notes app with SQLite persistence, an animal-adoption product with role-based data access, and community sites with live presence states.

Web applications
Next.js interfaces and API-backed tools
Desktop software
Electron apps with local-first workflows
Game development
Unity, GameMaker, and interactive systems
Accessibility
Camera and voice-assisted product concepts
Real builds, with the decisions behind them.
Four projects with working links, public source where available, and implementation notes taken from the actual repositories.
DeskSync
A Windows desktop app for sticky notes, schedules, reminders, tray access, and desktop right-click actions.
Keep notes and reminders useful even when the main window is closed.
Electron runs the tray and alarm services; SQLite stores notes, positions, schedules, sounds, and settings under the local user profile.
Kaminari Hall of Fame
A dark, atmospheric Hall of Fame website showcasing Kaminari community members and their live presence.
Give a community roster its own identity without making profiles difficult to scan.
The interface combines structured member cards, live presence states, and an integrated music player in a responsive Next.js build.
WHELPS
A responsive, multi-page site for animal rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and rehoming in Nueva Ecija.
Organize adoption, rescue stories, donations, and contact information without publishing details that have not been verified.
Organization-specific profiles, payment methods, and stories live in a typed content layer and remain explicitly marked for verification before publication.
FurU
A pet adoption and responsible rehoming product with listings, applications, messaging, appointments, and role-based dashboards.
Support both adopters and guardians while protecting private records and restricting welfare-organization access until verification.
Supabase provides authentication and relational data; Row Level Security scopes private records, while Zod boundaries and Turnstile-ready auth support safer submissions.
I’m looking for a junior web or game development role.
If your team values someone who can move between interface work, application logic, and visual experimentation, I’d like to hear what you’re building.
A soundtrack for late-night builds.
Music keeps the ideas moving. This is what I reach for while designing, debugging, and getting lost in a build.
Open in Spotify ↗Tools used in shipped work.
TypeScript, React, Next.js, Electron, Supabase, and the supporting tools used across these projects.

What I’m doing now—and where I want to go.
Three concrete parts of my path, without a résumé-style timeline.
Information Technology
I apply what I study by shipping complete projects instead of keeping coursework as isolated exercises.
Web and desktop products
DeskSync, FurU, WHELPS, and this portfolio document my work across Electron, Next.js, databases, and responsive interfaces.
A place on a game team
I’m looking for a junior role where I can contribute as a developer, learn production systems, and help ship interactive work.
